Turtle IV was the first foreign vehicle, perhaps the first of any nationality, to drive completely across Siberia, all of Russia and Europe, from the Pacific to the Atlantic. Mud, thin ice, deep snow, and temperatures below –90°F were some of the obstacles encountered on this 11-month adventure. |
